Come along with Guiness World Records as they explore the animal world record breakers. What land animal is the fastest? What species of bear lives the furthest south? What is the largest wild cat? What is the largest rodent? What was the first kind of panda made known to science? What is the tallest animal? Get all these questions and more answered in this video. You will also learn a bit about their habitats.
This video would pair well with an introduction to research papers. You can list these questions on the board or other learning center then have students watch the video and take notes. After watching the video, have students discuss the answers and ask more questions, like what else did you learn? Follow this activity up with have students ask their own questions about animals, research the answer, and write a paragraph or two to summarise their research.
