What is Lofi music?

Lofi, or lo-fi, is short for low fidelity. This type of music is lower production quality than the polished music we are used to. As such, mistakes or performance imperfections are left in the recording. Common features of lofi music include analog warmth, environmental interference, and harmonic distortion. Today, many adolescents and young adults enjoy this style of music for studying due to its relaxing nature.
