Q: What’s a thumbnail?

A: The cover image of your video, it’s what shows up when people first see your lesson.

Q: How do I change my thumbnail?

A: My Media (under your name) > Select the Pencil to the right of the video > Thumbnails

From her you can upload a thumbnail, capture a thumbnail, and auto-generate a thumbnail.

If you upload a thumbnail, simply click upload thumbnail and select your thumbnail like attaching a document to an email.

To capture a thumbnail, use the scroll bar at the bottom of your video to fast forward your video to the screencap you want to use as your thumbnail, then hit Capture

If you select auto-generate, then SchoolTube will present 2-3 different auto-generated images for you to use as your thumbnail. Click your favorite and you’re good to go.
