Author’s Purpose

This video is all about PIE.  Not the kind you eat, but the kind you read.  Persuade, Inform, and Entertain.  Students learn about the 3 types of purpose an author has in a story.  There are opportunities to practice and check for understanding. This video also offers several examples of each type of purpose.
