Today's book is Beautiful Shades Of Brown: The Art of Laura Wheeler Waring by Nancy Churnin, illustrated by Felicia Marshall. This is the perfect story for art classes during Black History Month. Use this as a way to introduce a project all about mixing paint colors similar to what is described in the book.
