Boeing 737 Pilot Training: My First Day Back

After a long break, I was back in the cockpit for my first day of line-instruction for the Boeing 737. The anticipation was palpable, a mix of excitement and a touch of nervousness. I was eager to get back into the swing of things, but there was also a healthy dose of respect for the responsibility that comes with being a pilot.

The day started with a briefing, where we reviewed the day’s training objectives and discussed any relevant safety considerations. I was paired with a seasoned instructor, who was not only skilled in his craft but also a patient and supportive mentor. Being back in the cockpit after a break was a rewarding experience. It was a reminder of the passion I have for flying and the importance of continuous learning and development. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue my training and contribute to the world of aviation.
