Calendars for Kids: Learn Months, Days, and More!
Calendars are everywhere! We use them to plan our days, keep track of important dates, and even learn about the passage of time. But for young children, understanding how calendars work can be a bit confusing. That’s where this resource comes in!
What is a Calendar?
A calendar is like a map of time. It helps us understand how the year is organized. It shows us the months, the days of the week, and even special holidays!

There are 12 months in a year. Let’s learn their names:

Days of the Week
Each week has 7 days:

How Many Days in Each Month?
Most months have either 30 or 31 days. February is a little different – it usually has 28 days, but every four years it has 29 days! This is called a leap year.
