drawing the funny pineapple

step 1: draw the oval shape

first, we'll draw the main shape of the pineapple. take your brown crayon and start in the middle of your paper. draw a big, tall oval. don't worry if your shape is a little different from the one in the example; the most important thing is to have fun and practice.

step 2: add the leaves

now it's time to add the leaves on top of our pineapple. switch to your green crayon and start in the top and middle of your pineapple. draw a curve that comes out to the right, then a straight line down. next, draw another curve that comes out to the left and a straight line back in. repeat this step for the next layer of leaves. remember, the leaves are spiky, so make them pointy!

step 3: add more leaves

for the final touch, add one more level of leaves. start at the top and draw smaller leaves, alternating between right and left. this will give your pineapple a full and lively appearance.
