How to Learn: Pretty Much Anything

Sometimes learning new things can be daunting.  Simply getting started is the hardest part of studying for many.  This video explains why.  It is incredibly motivating and encouraging for students.  Mattias Pilhede, an artist, teaches you how to learn anything.  Pilhede uses several different examples of art techniques, but the methods can be applied to any subject.  They present the difficult topic of learning and studying in a light-hearted way that teens will connect with.  This video would be great for middle and high school students.  I would use it at the beginning of a semester or quarter or when it is time to study for finals.  In just over 11 minutes, students will be encouraged to dive into a new topic no matter how intimidating.  And it might just encourage you, too!
