LEGO Prototype Review: Majestic Horse 010413
Welcome back to my channel, LEGO enthusiasts! Today, I have something truly special to share with you: a review of an unreleased LEGO prototype set, the Majestic Horse 010413. This set was never officially released, but thanks to a lucky find at a vintage toy store, I’m able to give you a glimpse into what could have been a fascinating LEGO experience.
The Majestic Horse 010413 is a striking model, featuring a magnificent horse sculpted with intricate detail. The use of LEGO bricks to capture the animal’s musculature and flowing mane is impressive. The set also includes a rider figure, adding to its playability. The color scheme is a classic LEGO combination of brown, black, and white, giving the horse a timeless elegance.
One of the most interesting aspects of this prototype is the innovative use of new LEGO elements. The horse’s head, for example, features a unique mold that allows for incredibly lifelike expressions. This demonstrates LEGO’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of brick-building.
However, the set also exhibits some potential flaws. The horse’s legs are somewhat fragile, and the rider’s saddle is a bit too small for the horse’s back. These issues could have been addressed in the final production, but unfortunately, that never happened.
Overall, the Majestic Horse 010413 is a fascinating glimpse into LEGO’s design process. It showcases the company’s creativity and innovation, while also highlighting the challenges of developing a successful LEGO set. While it’s a shame that this set never made it to market, it’s still a valuable piece of LEGO history.
