Pandemic Behavior: 10th Graders Acting Like 7th Graders

Hey Teach,

I hear the complaint multiple times a day, the biggest frustration for teachers right now is their 5th-grade students acting like 3rd graders. It makes sense, due to the pandemic, most students have not had a "normal" school year in about 2 years. In this video, Polly Bath doesn't try to see if that's a valid claim, we know it's happening. Instead, she provides reasons as to why this is the case and tips for teachers to deal with this issue. Sometimes, understanding why something is happening makes it easier to tackle, at least it does for me. This is a short video, but I hope it gives you great hope and encouragement!
