Pastel Spring Eyeshadow Tutorial: A Step-by-Step Guide

As the weather warms up and the flowers start to bloom, it’s time to brighten up your makeup routine with some cheerful pastel eyeshadows. This tutorial will guide you through creating a beautiful and easy spring-inspired eye look using the Oden’s Eye x Judy Spring Dragon Palette.

Products Used:

  • Oden’s Eye x Judy Spring Dragon Palette
  • Eyeshadow Primer
  • Blending Brush
  • Small Eyeshadow Brush
  • Fluffy Crease Brush
  • Mascara
  • Eyeliner (optional)

Step 1: Prep Your Eyelids

Start by applying an eyeshadow primer to your eyelids. This will help your eyeshadow to last longer and prevent creasing.

Step 2: Apply a Light Base Color

Using a fluffy blending brush, apply a light, neutral shade from the palette to your entire eyelid. This will create a smooth base for the other colors.

Step 3: Define the Crease

Take a fluffy crease brush and apply a light brown or peach shade to your crease. Blend this color upwards and outwards, creating a soft transition between the lid and crease.

Step 4: Add a Pop of Color

Now for the fun part! Choose a pastel color from the palette, such as a soft pink, lavender, or blue. Using a small eyeshadow brush, apply this color to the center of your eyelid, blending it outwards towards the crease. You can also blend this color upwards towards the brow bone for a more dimensional look.

Step 5: Highlight

Apply a shimmery, light-colored eyeshadow to the inner corner of your eye and along your brow bone. This will brighten up your eyes and create a more polished look.

Step 6: Line and Define

If desired, you can apply a thin line of eyeliner along your upper lash line. This will help to define your eyes and create a more dramatic look.

Step 7: Finish with Mascara

Apply two coats of mascara to your upper and lower lashes. This will complete your look and make your eyes pop.

Tips for a Flawless Blend:

  • Use a light hand and build up color gradually.
  • Blend colors in a circular motion, working from the outer edge of the eye inwards.
  • Use a clean blending brush to soften any harsh lines.

Experiment and Have Fun!

This is just a basic guide, and you can customize this look to your liking. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different colors and techniques. Most importantly, have fun with it and enjoy creating a beautiful spring eye look!
