Vooks are video books. Vooks Education has beautifully animated books in their original art style to bring these wonderful stories to life. Today's book is Proud To Be Latino: Food/Comida by Ashley Marie Mireles, illustrated by Edith Valle. This is an excellent choice for ESL where Spanish is their first language. This is also a wonderful way to teach Spanish to a class where most only speak English. And who doesn't love to talk about food? You could really spice this up by serving foods talked about in the book, by either providing yourself or asking parents to supply the food.
