The Kissing Hand read by Barbara Bain

The Kissing Hand is written by Audrey Penn, illustrated by Ruth E. Harper and Nancy M. Leak and read by Barbara Bain. School is starting in the forest, but Chester Raccoon does not want to go. To help ease Chester’s fears, Mrs. Raccoon shares a family secret called the Kissing Hand to give him the reassurance of her love any time his world feels a little scary.

Hello, welcome to storyline. I’m Barbara pain and were brought to you by the Screen Actors Guild Foundation. I’m going to read a story to you. And the story is called the kissing hand by Audrey pen. And the illustrations are by Ruth E Harper and Nancy EM leak. The kissing hand gesture, raccoons stood at the edge of the forest and cry. I don’t want to go to school. He told his mother, I want to stay home with you. I want to play with my friends and play with my toys and meet my books and swing on my swing. Please. Stay home with you. Mrs. raccoon took chest you by the hand, nozzle him on the air. Sometimes we have to do things we don’t want to do. She told him gently, even if they seem strange and scary at first. But you will love school. Once you start. You’ll make new friends and play with new toys and read new books, and swing on news. When SHE added, I know. Wonderful secret that will make your nights at school Siemens warm, cozy. As your days at Chester wiped away his tears. He looked interested. A secret. What kind of siri bag? Very old secrets? Sadness is raccoon. I learned it from my mother and she learned it from hers. And it’s called the kissing hand. The kissing hand as Chester. What’s that? I’ll show you. Mrs. Raccoon took gestures, left-hand, spread is tiny fingers into a fan. And leaning forward, she kissed testers right in the middle of his palm. Chester felt his mother’s kiss In rush from his hand, up his arm and into his heart. Even here, silky black mouse tingle, special warmth. Mrs. Greg, smile. Now she told Chester, now whenever you feel low and you need a little loving from home, just press your hand to your cheek and think, mommy loves you. Mommy loves you. And that very kiss or jump to your face and fill you with toasty warm dots. She took gestures, carefully wrapped his fingers around the kiss, and now do be careful not to lose that she teased him. Oh, but don’t worry when you open your hand and watch your food, I promise you that kiss will stick. Chester loved his kissing him. Now he knew his mother’s love with go with him wherever he went, even to school. Night. Chester stood in front of his school and he looked thoughtful. Suddenly he turned to his mother and he grinned. Give me your hand. He told her chest you took his mother’s hand in his own and unfolded her large, familiar fingers into a fan. Next he leaned forward and kissed the center of her hand. Now you have a kissing him to he told her and gentle goodbye. And I love you chest to turn him, danced away. Mrs. raccoon watch gestures, scamper across a tree limb and enter school. And as the WHO Dao rang in the new school year, she pressed her left hand, her cheek and smile. The warmth the chest using is build her heart with special words. Chest, kissing.
