Intrigued, Pitoni had the Skystone analyzed in labs across Europe. The results were astounding. The stone was composed of 77% oxygen, an unheard-of amount, making it incredibly light. Even more bizarre, it couldn't be damaged by acid or high heat, and it contained an organic compound entirely unknown to science.
Before the mystery of the Skystone could be fully unraveled, Pitoni disappeared, leaving behind more questions than answers. However, years later, an American artist named Jared Collins picked up the trail, acquiring Skystone samples and enlisting scientists to examine them. The conclusion? The stone's properties were so unusual that it might not even be from Earth.
The Dogon Tribe and the Secrets of Sirius
Thousands of miles away in Mali, another piece of this puzzle might reside with the Dogon tribe. For centuries, they've held a deep fascination with the Sirius star system, particularly Sirius B, a white dwarf star invisible to the naked eye.
