The F-16 Viper Demo Team’s Performance at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar
The F-16 Viper Demo Team performed at the 2023 Miramar Air Show, held at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, California. Miramar is known as ‘Fightertown USA’ and is home to the U.S. Navy’s Strike Fighter Squadron 101 (VFA-101), also known as the ‘Grim Reapers.’ The airshow attracted thousands of spectators, who were treated to a spectacular display of aerial maneuvers by the F-16 Viper Demo Team.
The team’s performance included a series of impressive maneuvers, such as:
- High-speed passes: The F-16 Viper can reach speeds of over Mach 2, and the team demonstrated its ability to perform high-speed passes, creating sonic booms that reverberated across the airfield.
