Harriet Tubman: Civil War Spy

She is known as a savior of the enslaved, but few know that during the American Civil War, Harriet Tubman was an exceptionally skilled spy. Working for the Union Army, she used her knowledge of the landscape and the network of Underground Railroad safe houses to guide dozens of escaped slaves to freedom.
