The clothing worn by Native Americans prior to the arrival of Europeans varied depending on the tribe and the climate where the tribe lived. For example, tribes who lived in cold climates would wear clothes made of animal fur to keep them warm, while tribes in hot climates would wear less clothing or clothing made of material that would help keep them cool.
