A sad reality that we have to face when studying outbreak science is that sometimes groups of people use outbreaks intentionally to harm others. This can be seen in the way that some groups will deliberately spread diseases in order to create chaos or to weaken enemies. While this is a tragic reality, it is important for us to be aware of it so that we can be better prepared to protect ourselves and others in the event of an outbreak.
