Why Are Foods Many Colors?

Tomatoes and strawberries, eggplants and grapes, carrots and oranges.  These delicious foods are not only nutritious, but colorful.  You could eat a rainbow of foods!  But, why are foods colorful?  This video uses science to explain why it is good for the plants that these fruits and vegetables are so colorful.  Use this in class or as homework for younger students.  They will love the puppet!
